What Is a “Portable Mode”?

Atrise TVP is installed by default to different special folders. It is a Windows software requirements.

In most cases it is located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Atrise\TVP\Tvp.exe

Or here in Windows XP:
C:\Program Files\Atrise\TVP\Tvp.exe

Playlist, Settings and Demo Video Files

In most cases they are located on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 here:
C:\Users\All Users\Atrise\TVP\playlist.txt
C:\Users\All Users\Atrise\TVP\Tvp.settings

Or here in Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Atrise\TVP\playlist.txt
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Atrise\TVP\Tvp.settings

Using a Portable Mode

Registered users can use this program in a portable mode. This means using TVP without a reference to the installation location. In this case, all settings are stored in the same place. It is useful to run the program, for example, from a flash drive stick, or copy a presentation from the project developer PC to the public place PC.

Create a Portable Installation

To create a portable installation, create a writable directory and copy here these files:

Tvp.exe
playlist.txt
Tvp.settings
